Avery's New Tricks

Month 4 has been a hoot! Avery can do lots of fun stuff now! As you can see in the pictures above Avery is now able to play in her exersaucer, sit up in her Bumbo seat, chew on her toes (yum), and every morning I find her in her crib flipped onto her belly sucking her thumb....yikes, that's a lot of development in one month! Avery can also grab things now (mostly toys and my fingers) and put them in her mouth as the doctor seems to think the teething process has officially begun! Although, with the amount of drool she's got going on we didn't really need the Doc for that one! Incidentally, I never updated my last entry but as of 2 weeks ago Avery was weighing in at 12 lbs 7 oz and was 23 inches long! We also went to our first sing-a-long with Avery's big cousin Matthew and Auntie Alison and Avery LOVED it! It was really funny to hear her coo the entire time and kick her legs all over the place. Needless to say we will be frequenting more of those! Hope everyone is doing well and happy that spring has finally sprung!!

Avery is 4 Months Old!

Time sure does fly when you are having fun! Yesterday, Avery turned 4 months old and today she celebrated her first Easter! Avery has a doctor's appointment in the morning so I will update this post when I get home with her new stats!

So You Think You Can Dance?

If you have a spare minute (technically 1:52 seconds) you need to check out the moves of Avery's big cousins Mia and Ella! I think they had a good time at my mom's 60th birthday party...they get their moves from their mom! I think it's a hillarious clip and thought you all might find it funny too!

All Good Things Must Come to an End...

We're back!!! Florida was AWESOME but we are happy to be home and to have Dunkin back! The weather was wonderfully warm and it was nice to be able to go for long walks in the sunshine, take in a few baseball games, and be together as a family! I sure am going to miss looking for our temporary "pets" (2 snakes and an alligator) as they were pretty entertaining to watch. However, we are really looking forward to opening day and being home to see all our family! See you all soon!!!

I Think Someone's Hungry....

Looks to me like we aren't going to have a vegetarian on our hands! In the video above, Avery was trying to devour the little birdie on her bouncy seat and then her own thumb! Better watch out Dunkin....

Avery is 3 Months Old!

Yesterday, Miss Avery turned 3 months old and she is really getting chunky! Developmentally, Avery has started to roll to her side and she likes to suck on her fingers non-stop! Also, she is full of smiles for us and has found that her voice can get loud! We are amazed at how much of a personality she has already developed and excited to see what happens in the next month!
