Do I have anything on my Face?

Gotta love green beans and squishy face...makes for a good Kodak moment! I love this picture and just wanted to share! Soon you will be able to see 4 teeth in Avery's pictures! On Sunday her top right tooth popped out and the very next morning the top left had popped out! Hope you all are doing well and staying cool in this HOT weather!!

Avery is 8 Months Old!

Avery is 8 months old and she is crawling! On August 6th Avery got up on all fours did one little cycle of crawling (arm, arm, leg,leg) and then face planted. The next day, she did the very same thing and in just 2 days she was able to crawl across the room (check out the video clip above and ignore my shrill voice)!!! I think crawling was her birthday gift to me, just like when she cut her first tooth for her Daddy on Father's day! On her first day of crawling she even tried to pull up to stand twice so I think I am really in for it! Avery has been a little uncomfortable and more fussy the last few days so I think some new teeth are on their way too...our little Petunia is really growing (too) fast! I just wanted to say "hi" to all our faithful blog followers! Above is a picture of Avery swinging away on the swings where her daddy grew up! Avery and I also got to feed the ducks with her Grandpa, Auntie Alison, and her big cousin Matthew while Grandma was making a scrumptious dinner for us! Then we got to visit with Carol and Emma who love to see Miss Avery...another great Wednesday visit to Grandma and Grandpa's! Thanks for checking in on us!

Avery is 7 Months Old!

Hello Everyone! This past Saturday, Avery turned 7 months old!! The last month has been very exciting for Petunia! Avery now has 2 bottom teeth and has started solid foods...she seems to have a good appetite! It's so cute to hear those 2 little teeth crunching on her little Baby Mum-Mum wafers. Avery and I also flew to Atlanta to be with Mike and to visit with some of our Birmingham friends (we missed you Chris and Dana). It was SO GOOD to all be together again, wish we could do it more often! Avery is also babbling alot and tries to clap (which is the bottom middle picture), she really gets her whole body into her clapping. She really has become quite a wiggle-worm! We also celebrated the Fourth of July together, got to spend some quality daddy time over the All-Star break, and got to go to our friends Dylan and Marisa's second birthday party! All in all, a pretty good month! Hope everyone's doing well and thanks for checking in on us!!

Avery Has A Tooth!

Avery's first tooth has arrived! I found it yesterday when she was chomping on my finger, it is her bottom left tooth and has just barely popped through but is definately there! I guess Avery wanted to give her daddy an extra special Father's Day gift! She is growing SO fast...I don't think crawling is too far in the future!

Cereal and Mohawks and Squishy Face...Oh My!!

This morning Avery had cereal for the first time and she DEVOURED it! I thought maybe she would push the rice cereal out of her mouth on the first bite but she gulped it down! I can't wait to feed her more tomorrow. Dunkin waited patiently by the foot of Avery's high chair but struck out...Dunkin has learned quickly from big cousin's Mia and Ella that a baby in a high chair means promising treats! You can see from the pictures above that Avery's hair is starting to fill in which means fun with mohawks in the bathtub! Also, as of last week Avery has started to make the most hilarious "squishy face". The squishy face mostly comes out for her Papa and her Grandpa but once in a while she will indulge Mike and I with it. It's pretty darn cute. Avery had her 6 month check-up this past monday and is now a whopping 14.5 lbs and 25.5" long...growing like a weed and cute as a button (if I do say so myself)! Avery is 6 Months Old!

Time needs to slow down!! Avery is already 6 months old! I cannot believe how much personality this little girl has...she is getting really funny and has hilarious expressions, especially first thing in the morning! The above picture was taken in Center Field at Fenway Park on Family Day, watch out Jacoby! Avery had a blast, especially staring at Wally the Green Monster! She fell asleep in the car about 30 seconds after we left the ballpark. Mike and I are also doing well, just a bit hectic with Mike's crazy schedule and trying to sell our townhouse. Fingers crossed that we get a bite! I will do my darndest to get more posts going on this blog now that our townhouse is officially on the market. Avery is going to the MD next week for her 6 month check up so I will have her new height and weight stats for you. Also, Avery will be starting cereal next week so I'm sure that will give ample photo opportunities! Developmentally, Avery is rolling all over the place and she can sit up for a significant amount of time (although, we still have the occasional faceplant).
